My Finances
My Finances is the source-record surface for the household. An edit here changes one canonical user fact, and every plan and model that reads that fact receives the same value.
Facts and source records live here
The category rail groups records such as About you, Accounts, Expenses, Debts, Property, and Businesses. Select a category to expose its current detail surface.
A fact is a value entered or sourced for the household. An assumption is a plan-local planning lever. A computed output is derived from facts, assumptions, and rules. My Finances edits the first category; it can display the others for context without turning them into source records.
Edit an existing account
- Open Accounts and expand the account row.
- Enter the current value in New balance, or Amount owedfor a debt account.
- Choose Save.
The row updates from the saved account record and keeps the same value after a reload. The edit does not create a second balance inside Projection or another plan.
Add a source record
Add account opens What are you adding? Choose the account category, enter its identifying details and balance, then save. The new record appears in Accounts and becomes available to the canonical net-worth and projection nodes.
Follow the reactive update
Saving a fact updates the one shared fact signal. Briefing, Projection, tax, and other dependent models re-derive from it automatically. There is no separate sync or Recalculate action.
At phone width, open Menu and then My Finances. The same Accounts editor and save path remain available in the compact layout.
