Plan › Projection
Projection is the active plan through time. Its controls feed the same reactive graph as the rest of RunwayFI, so there is no Recalculate button and no separate chart-only answer.
Use the live projection controls
The default controls are Annual income, Monthly expenses, and Plan through age. Moving one updates the chart and its dependent outputs as part of the same graph transaction. There is no extra Apply step.
The chart’s age scrubber changes which year is inspected. It does not move the plan’s stored starting age.
Compare the path you just changed
Open Compare to freeze the current projection, then move a live control. The prior path appears as a ghost line beside the new path. Closing comparison clears that temporary reference; it does not create another plan or another fact store.
Trace the current inputs
Show your math opens the trace for the current result. For example, the Annual expenses row is derived from the same canonical Monthly expensesvalue shown by the live control. The trace explains the result; it does not calculate a competing value in the page.
Know which surface owns the input
Income and expenses are shared user facts. Editing either here updates the same fact read by My Finances and every model. Plan through age is a planning setting for the active plan. Other plan-local assumptions live with that plan and never fork a user fact.
Open My Finances for the underlying source records. At phone width, that destination remains available under Menu.
